AGAPE Needs:

  • There is a dire need for adoptive and foster parents. Please prayerfully consider meeting this need if you can. You may call the agency at 859-4481.

Benevolence Ministry:

  • There is a need for clothing items at the Inner City Church of Christ. You may take these items directly to the church at Inner City. See Bro. James Williams for further details.

Ladies News:

  • Ladies Day Program-The City Church of Christ , Moulton , AL , July 31st.  See the ladies bulletin board.

Education Ministry:

  • All adults are encouraged to attend Sunday morning Bible Class. Bro. James Williams is teaching lessons from the book of Revelation.
  • All parents are encouraged to bring your children to Bible Class on Sunday morning and Wednesday night. K-8 is studying from the Bible for All Ages.
  • New Converts Class Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M. meets in classroom #4.
  • Lessons dealing with church fundamentals will be studied in the Wednesday night adult class for the next quarter.  All adults are encouraged to be present.  Bro. Fred Hall is the teacher.
  • The Education Department needs your help. Teachers are needed to teach at least one quarter during the year. See Bro. Toney Branch for more information.
  • The “Personal Faults” is held each Saturday at 9:00 A.M.  See Bro. James for information.
  • A Wednesday night Bible Class for college and university students meets in classroom #1.

The Elders:

  • We encourage all members who are not working in one of our ministries to complete an involvement sheet. Complete a new involvement sheet only if you wish to be added to an additional ministry or change the one you are currently working with. Give your completed sheet to one of the elders.
  • The elders meet at the church building on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00 A.M. We are also available to meet with you by appointment. Please contact one of the elders when you need to meet with us.
  • To eliminate noise and disruption during worship service, please stay in the auditorium until dismissed. Turn off cellular phones or put them on silent.
  • All Ministry Heads, in order to make a purchase you must complete a Purchase Request Form (PRF). All the required information and signature(s) must be shown on the (PRF). Ministry Heads are encouraged to keep a copy of each (PRF) so that you will have a record of your expenditures for comparisons to the treasury records. This will help each ministry keep track of their budget balance. The purchase request forms are located in the information center.
  • For Tax year 2007 and beyond the IRS now requires written proof of charitable donations, including church contributions. Church contribution envelopes must be completed.
  • For prayer requests and special needs please complete the request form in the pew pocket. They will be collected at the appropriate time. Standing for confession of sin has not changed.
